Visa invitations
The Organizers are to be contacted in writing at wvc2012@gmail.com , if visa invitations are required. An invitation will only be issued, if full payment of the amount detailed in the invoice has been received in fully by the Organizers.
Arrival/Collection of tournament documentation
Accreditation takes place at Hovet next to the Ericsson Globe for participants and their accompanying guests on:
- Saturday June 23rd, 2012 from 12:00 to 19:00
- Sunday June 24th, 2012 from 09:00 to 22:00
- Monday June 25th, 2012 from 08:00 to 12:00
When collecting the tournament documentation the participant has to provide his confirmation of participation, containing the individual personal registration number.
Upon demand of the organizers, each participant has to provide proof of identification (passport or personal identification card) when collecting the tournament documentation. This enables the organizing committee to verify the event categories. Each participant has to personally collect his tournament documentation. Accompanying persons will be handled together with the participant. It is not possible for accompanying persons to collect their own documentation.
Handing over of tournament documentation
Competitor’s numbers and tournament documentation will only be handed over, if all outstanding fees have been paid.
Validity of accreditation
The accreditation is only valid for the registered person. Passing on of accreditation onto third parties is strictly forbidden.
No-show/ Absence
Players that do not appear until Monday June 25th, 2012 12:00 will be excluded from the tournament.
Catering
Participants as well as accompanying persons are responsible for their own catering. Nevertheless the Ericsson Globe offers extensive catering possibilities in a various price ranges.
Illness/accident
For your own safety, please do contact your doctor ahead of the championships for a routine fitness check-up. The organizers do not provide participants with health insurance. Cost of medication, bandages or other medical services will not be paid for. We suggest that foreign participants should have a health insurance at home before traveling abroad. Health insurance for Swedish participants is a pre-requisite.
There will be a team with “First aid” knowledge available at the Ericsson Globe during the whole duration of the championships.
Data protection
The Organizers are entitled to collect all necessary data to ensure processing of registration and payment and to incorporate these details into their address Database. Passing on of data such as names and addresses will only be effective to the Swaythling Club International, who will then pass on data to the organizers of the next championships. Passing on data to third parties or a sale thereof will not occur. The participant’s name will be published in the participants list on the internet.
Liability
The organizer of World Veteran Championships 2012 is the Swedish Table Tennis Association and its partners. The Organizers can not be held liable in case of accident, injury, theft or damages of any kind.
Health insurance
The Organizers do not provide participants with health insurance. Each participant has to ensure that he/she does have a health insurance. Any costs arising thereof will not be covered.
Belated departure/Non-departure
Costs incurred by foreign participants for late departure or non-departure from Sweden or costs incurred due to illness are to be born by each participant. The Organizers will not be held liable.
