Old town and the Vasa ship (Lunch)
Gamla Stan (the Old Town of Stockholm) is one of the largest and best preserved mediaeval city centres in Europe, which makes it one of the main attractions of Stockholm. It was here that Stockholm was founded in the 13th century. In the morning you will have a guided tour in this unique part of Stockholm. You will finish off this part of the tour by having lunch together in one of the many cellar vaults of Gamla Stan. After lunch we will take the ferry to the island Djurgården for a visit to the famous Vasa Museum. The Vasa is the only preserved ship in the world from the 17th century, and it is a unique treasure. More than 95 per cent of the ship consist of the original parts and it is decorated with hundreds of carved sculptures. Today The Vasa Museum is the most visited museum in Scandinavia with more than one million visitors a year.

In the summer, the archipelago is a paradise for yachtsmen and other boaters from all over northern Europe. This day trip will take you for a fantastic tour from the big city to the outer parts of the archipelago. Enjoy the constant presence of the sea, with its unique fauna and flora. Together with our archipelago guides you will take part in this in the best possible way. Our destination is the boating town Sandhamn, an island that is immensely popular in the summer and that offers a long and exciting history.
